Sieg Heil Heir Robertson!

During his "700 club" broadcast, Pat Robertson (The founder of the Christian Coalition) said the following about Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

"We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with. You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination (Political assassination as U.S. policy has been prohibited since 1976), but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war ... and I don't think any oil shipments will stop."

Now I know Hugo Chavez is not the best guy on the planet, but I thought there was this little rule in this thing called the "10 commandments" that Christians hold as their infallible doctrine that said something like... "Thou shall not kill"?

Interesting...

God killed many as he saw fit. God also ordered certain people to kill other people to either stop something or start something. God is just, but he will do whatever pleases him. If someone's gonna take out Chavez to prevent a war, then so be it. I'm sure God wouldn't consider that an unjust death.
